Act One: Mr Swanson is shown crying on the toilet, whilst this is shown, the song Mad World by Gary Jules will be playing in the background as this relates to Mr Swanson's depression phase. Decides to kill himself in a toilet cubical and young student finds him dead. He screams and immediately the toilets are flooded with people finding out what has happened and the majority see Derek hanging with his eyes wide open like in a horror movie. Jake Patient (the bully) is shown in shock of the situation and blames himself of the death of Mr Swanson. Jake is extremely distressed and tears are shown. Then cuts to the title 'Mr Swanson'
Act Two: Derek is riding to school on his push bike dressed in his tacky suit, sweating through his shirt and jacket whilst losing his breath. He rides into the school gates and is confronted by Jake and his evil mates and throws contents of their pack lunches that they dont want. Derek locks up his bike round the back of the school and bumps into Jake as Derek turns around who tell him where are you going. Mr Swanson is the shown walking through the corridor of the History department. The school bell then rings signifying the end of the scene.
